Quiz tomorrow! Ch. 13 Lessons 1 & 2. Please make sure to go over any notes, review the lessons in the textbook, and study the lesson 2 vocab words. The green "Quiz Prep" sheet is a great place to start, but should not be the only thing students study.
Hurricane Flipbook due on Monday! We've spent most of the week working on this assignment in class. Students should not have much to do this weekend if they were using their class time wisely.

Quick Sketch What's in a Name? Around the World Hurricane Scale We did it! Made it through the first full week of school! No homework this weekend. Below are pictures from the "Balloon Chair Challenge" that students participated in as an introduction to scientific problem solving and engineering. Students had 20 balloons, 25 minutes and tape to build a balloon chair that could hold someone for at least 30 seconds. We were overall very successful! Vocabulary and Quiz tomorrow
