Homework due 9/28 - Textbook pg. 14 #3, 4, 5, 8
Any extra questions completed will be worth 1/2 point extra credit :) We had a great time testing our Popsicle bridges today! Students pushed their bridges to see how much weight they could hold. I was impressed with the outcome! We had one bridge still standing at the end of the tests - but all bridges did a great job supporting the weight! Check out the Pictures folder linked through the "Handouts" button (located to the right) to see all the bridges from today :)
Enjoy the weekend with no science homework :) We will be testing bridges tomorrow! The students have worked hard the past 3 days to build their popsicle stick bridge creations. Hopefully they will be able to withstand the weight!
Homework - complete Bridge Reflection Skip # 1, 4, 7, 9 Cheers to making it to the weekend! We worked hard this week and I am very appreciative of that! Next week we are going to start a bridge building project. If you have any Popsicle sticks (regular size, not the jumbo kind), I would appreciate any donations to the project. Enjoy your weekend!
Sept. 12 - Lesson Review PG. NOS 11 #1-7
We had a great start to our school year! The 8th graders are hard workers and I really appreciate their eagerness to learn :) If you check out the handouts link and look in the pictures folder, you will find some photos of our "Help Harry" building project :) |
