It was a review day today! Students will be having a quiz on chapter 1 on Tuesday, Oct. 4
Homework - finish Chapter Review pgs. 36-37 #1-24. Students had 45 minutes in class to work on this and ask questions, so hopefully they shouldn't have too much to do this weekend.

We are finishing up Chapter 1 in our text. Starting tomorrow we will be reviewing for our Chapter 1 quiz happening next week.
Homework due 9/30 - finish reading pg. 30 and answer #3-7 on pg. 31 For the past two days students have been working very hard to construct a dichotomous key based off a group of animals or plants. It was not an easy task, but the students did a great job using their critical thinking skills to complete the assignment. They should be proud of their hard work! No homework for today! Encourage your student to go to JHub :D
Below is an example of a dichotomous key :) Homework due Monday, Sept. 26th - Classification circles. Needs to be colored. Printed pictures are okay.
Enjoy the weekend! Homework due Sept. 21 - finish summary "notebooking" page if needed and the lesson review on pg. 16 #4-11
Students were guided in the first half of the summary page and had additional class time to begin working on the lesson review Congratulate yourselves for making it the the end of the first full week of school! Woohoo! The only homework over the weekend is to study for the SI Base Units quiz that is on Monday. You can see the units below. Enjoy the weekend! Sept. 13 - Lesson Outline due THURSDAY. Students are encouraged to work on the homework today and tomorrow so they are not overwhelmed by the assignment Wednesday night.
